A Lesson on Santa

December was busy and wonderful. The holidays were just perfect, the snow was beautiful, we were all healthy and together, and we had a lot of fun.

I learned a few things about being Santa. First, KSL is wonderful. Livi saw a princess mirror that she was set on getting. It was over $100 and I told her it was too expensive. She very innocently said, "Maybe you can't pay for it, but Santa can." The issue was solved in her mind and that was what she wanted. I decided to look on KSL,the first ad that came up was that exact princess mirror for $15. The seller had posted it 30 minutes earlier and lived 5 minutes from my house. It was in great condition, and I went and bought it right away. It was a little Christmas miracle. Second, if kids ask for a cheap toy go with that. All Ezra really wanted was an Ironman toy and I thought he would love a powerwheels. He kind of likes the powerwheels, but if you ask him what he got for Christmas he'll tell you he got an Ironman toy.

Looking back through the year I feel so grateful for the Lord's hand in our lives in so many ways. I have so much to be grateful for, and look forward to another new year.
