Healthy Baby!
I had my 20 week ultrasound today and the baby looks great! This is great news because there could have been some problems from the untreated diabetes the first eight weeks.
In July I took this picture of two of my tomato plants. The small plant broke when I was planting it, but I decided to plant it anyway and see if it could recover. The plant next to it is a big healthy plant. I was amazed by this struggling little plant because it gave us one of the first tomatoes of the season. I had Mike come look at it with me. I told him I was the struggling little plant (because that's how I physically felt that month), and the healthy tomato was our baby.
We are grateful the baby has been strong enough to be doing so well through all of the changes with me. Things are going really well for me now also.

That is great news Ash! I am sooooo happy to hear that your baby is healthy!! I got teary reading about your healthy tomato. It truly is amazing how strong babies are. When Ty was born, there were complications and so he spent a week in NICU. I watched this tiny angel fight so hard. I will never underestimate how strong they are. Yea baby! I can't wait to hear more about you!
I am so glad things are fine. it is always nice to hear that good news. i think we've all felt like broken little plants at one time or another: Hope things continue to improve.
Yeah! I'm so glad to hear that you and baby are doing well. I'm sure that is a great weight lifted. But just to know where that child comes from is amazing. I look at James, and think wow, you were there just a few short months ago! Life is beautiful. You're still in our prayers!
Yay! I'm so so relieved. Hey, Reese's old boss is interviewing in Italy right now. Reese wants to follow him (maybe). Let's all go to Rome!
Your awesome Ash! I am glad all is well with your tiny one and you. Good. AAhh, nice relief. Love the plants. :)
