Trials are a Time of Reflection and Gratitude

Last week we were excited to find out we were pregnant with number five, but a week later dissappointed to find out that it wasn't going to happen. I woke up at 4:00 on Tuesday morning with terrible pain. By 7:00 I couldn't stand it any longer and went to the ER. They did an ultrasound and found I had a tubal pregnancy. I had surgery that day. They cut the tube and removed the pregnancy and surrounding blood clots and sewed me back up. They were able to save the tube and we are hopeful that it will still function properly. Recovery is going well. Wonderful neighbors, family, and friends have lightened the load with offers of help, caring messages, and phone calls.

Trials really cause me to reflect on my life. I am so grateful for each of my little ones. They are such blessings and I love every minute I have with them. I am grateful for people who are willing to step in and help out, and most of all let me know they care. I am grateful for a wonderful husband who loves me. I am grateful to know that I can find peace through the Savior who knows how to help me. I am grateful that the recovery is going well and I can get back into normal life soon!
