Pretend

One of my favorite things is listening to the kids pretend while I clean the house. It usually goes something like this:

Ezra: Livi how bout, how bout, we play fam-i-ly
Livi: (sigh) ok
Ezra: How bout you be the mom and I'll be the dad
Livi: Ok
Ezra: Bye! I'm going running. (He runs around the house doing spiderman kicks and shooting his web.)
Livi: (in a sweet voice) Bye, have fun at work. (she goes and finds a doll and wraps it up and takes care of it.)

There's a lot of dialogue after this, but it's always different. This is how it usually begins.
Ezra is often the dog or the baby as well. I love it that they are such good friends!

Soooo cute! Man, we need to get our kids together. Dak and Ez would have a blast.

that is super cute. I like that you and Mike are setting such a good example of mom and dad for them, that is where they are getting their dialog!

Are you guys going to come over on Sat for some cake for the boys' birthday? Let me know! We would love to have you!
